General principle
PoundysPro is a platform specialized in the sale of professional equipment intended for the restaurant industry, food service and related activities.
Sales are carried out on a B2B basis.
As such, orders are considered final and binding.
Returns are accepted only within the scope of the manufacturer’s warranty or in the event of proven non-conformity at delivery.
Warranty by brand
Each product sold on PoundysPro clearly displays its manufacturer’s warranty period directly on the product page.
The applicable warranty is exclusively the manufacturer’s warranty, in accordance with its official conditions, including duration, coverage and exclusions.
PoundysPro does not provide any additional commercial warranty and acts as a professional reseller.
What the manufacturer’s warranty covers
The manufacturer’s warranty covers only:

manufacturing defects
-
failures occurring during normal and proper use
According to the manufacturer’s conditions, it includes:

spare parts
-
labour
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover, in particular:

improper use or non-compliant use
-
incorrect installation
-
lack of maintenance
-
unauthorized modifications
-
impacts, power surges or negligence
-
normal wear and tear of parts
-
damage caused by the user
Warranty-related returns
Any return must:
-
be subject to a prior request submitted to the after-sales service
-
be approved in writing before shipment
No return will be accepted without prior authorization.
Out of warranty
In the event of an out-of-warranty failure:

a repair quotation is issued by the manufacturer
-
the repair is carried out only after the customer’s approval
If the repair is refused or if the equipment is declared non-repairable, symbolic diagnostic fees may be applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s conditions.
The exact amount is always communicated to and approved by the customer before any intervention.
Transport
In accordance with the manufacturers’ conditions:

round-trip transport costs to the after-sales service centre are borne by the customer
-
this applies even during the warranty period
International customers
The manufacturer’s warranty conditions apply regardless of the country of delivery.
For orders delivered outside the European Union, no physical return of the machine is required due to high logistical costs.
Support is provided primarily through:

online technical assistance
-
remote diagnosis
-
assistance with local repair
The necessary spare parts are available and may be supplied in accordance with the manufacturer’s conditions.
Any costs related to:
-
international transport of spare parts
-
customs formalities
-
local taxes
remain the responsibility of the customer.
Small equipment and consumables
Small equipment, accessories, consumables and wear parts are sold without warranty.
They are neither returned nor exchanged, except in the case of a defect identified upon receipt.
